Karen Kaveney

Senior Manager Corporate Secretarial Services (UK)

Karen is a Chartered Company Secretary, with both professional services and industry experience. She provides company secretarial support to a wide range of clients, particularly large regulated groups in the financial services sector. Karen specialises in UK transactional work and corporate governance, including legal entity simplification and group reorganisations, board and committee support, subsidiary governance and director training. 

Karen trained at PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal, before moving to Eversheds Sutherland/Konexo. Karen has also undertaken numerous secondments with clients, including international banks, insurers, asset managers and mining companies.

Karen is an ACIS member of The Chartered Governance Institute. Karen has an LLB (Hons) in English and European Law, an LLM in Commercial Law and has completed the Legal Practice Course. In addition, Karen has an ISCA Advanced Certificate in Sports Governance and has completed a short courses on governance related topics such as Financial Markets.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys travelling and is currently attempting to travel overland from London to Beijing, two weeks at a time.
