Vicky Paramour

Vicky Paramour joined LawDeb in 2015. She has over 20 years’ experience in the Pensions Industry. Prior to joining LawDeb she worked at EY, Towers Watson and Hymans Robertson advising trustees and corporate sponsors on pensions issues

Vicky represents LawDeb on seven schemes ranging in size from £300m to £45bn and including DB, DC and Hybrid benefit structures. She chairs a number of trustee boards or committees, including for Lloyds Bank, Next and Dairy Crest.

Vicky has successfully negotiated various funding and de-risking arrangements for a number of schemes utilising innovative solutions such as pre-agreed triggers to deal with the deterioration in sponsor covenant or investment outlook and contingent funding arrangements. She has completed numerous bulk annuity transactions and other insurance transactions and recently completed a £1.5bn buy-in of both deferred and pensioner liabilities and a £10bn longevity hedge.

As a pensions actuary by background with broad pensions experience of working with a range of different stakeholders, Vicky’s aim for her schemes is to work with her fellow trustees to find funding and investment solutions that meet the needs of all stakeholders and importantly, deliver the best outcomes for members.

In her spare time Vicky likes to paint, travel and go hillwalking.
